The White Hart, Cold Ashton

Built in the local vernacular this dilapidated former coaching house/pub (The White Hart) was closed and boarded up after many years of steady deterioration.Like many other historic local buildings it is largely 17th century with 19th and 20th century additions and alterations. We were able to carefully restore this historic handsome local building and bring the property back to life as a mix of showcase design studio for the successful national and international interior design company Sims Hilditch.

The extensive restoration work included careful work to the Cotswold stone tiled roof, stone finials and corbels, casement windows, hood mould to door and the arched stone fireplaces
